§ 151.53  WAIVER AND DISCLAIMER.
   (A)   Flood protection required by this subchapter is reasonable and is based upon sound surveys, data interpretations and computations. However, larger floods than that of a 1% chance of occurring in any year may occur on rare occasions or under unusual conditions.
   (B)   Flood heights may be higher than computed, due to human-made or natural causes which inhibit discharge of flood waters.
   (C)   This subchapter does not imply that areas outside of designated areas of special flood hazard or that uses permitted within such delineations will be free of flooding or flood damage.
   (D)   This subchapter shall not create liability on the part of the city or any officer or employee thereof for any personal injury, death or property damage from flooding that may result from reliance on this subchapter or any administration decision lawfully made thereunder.
