For the purpose of this subchapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
JUNKED VEHICLE. A vehicle that is self-propelled and:
(1) Does not have lawfully attached to it an unexpired license plate; and
(2) Is:
(a) Wrecked, dismantled or partially dismantled or discarded; or
(b) Inoperable and has remained inoperable for more than:
1. Seventy-two consecutive hours, if the vehicle is on public property;
2. Thirty consecutive days, if the vehicle is on private property.
VEHICLE.
(1) Any motor driven or propelled vehicle, including but not limited to automobiles, trucks, buses, motor homes, motorized campers, tractors and construction equipment and machinery;
(2) Any trailer or semitrailer, other than manufactured housing, including but not limited to boat trailers, travel trailers;
(3) Any four-wheel all-terrain vehicle designed by the manufacturer for off-highway use;
(4) Any motorcycle, motor-driven cycle or moped;
(5) Any recreational conveyances including but not limited to boats, dune buggies; or
(6) Any motor vehicle subject to registration pursuant to the Texas Certificate of Title Act, Tex. Trans. Code, §§ 501.001 et seq..
VEHICLE ACCESSORIES. Any part or parts of any vehicle.
