(A) Definitions. For the purpose of this section, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
CITY STREET or RIGHT-OF-WAY. Any street, thoroughfare, alley or right-of-way maintained by the City of Canton, Texas, and owned by the City of Canton, Texas or the State of Texas located within the city limits of Canton, Texas.
PERSONAL PROPERTY. Any items of property offered for sale by a vendor.
(B) Specific violations. It shall be deemed a violation of this section for any person, persons, firm, corporation or partnership to offer for sale or to store items of personal property on any public street, road, right-of-way or alley owned and maintained by the City of Canton, Texas, or by the State Highway Department which is located within the corporate city limits of Canton, Texas.
(C) Penalty for violation. The violation of any provision of this section shall be punishable by a fine of not less than $1 but not more than $200, and each separate day of a violation shall constitute a separate offense.
