In addition to the powers hereinbefore given by the provisions of this act the Mayor, Aldermen and other officers and agents of said Town of Canton are hereby given all the powers, rights and privileges under chapter seventy-three, entitled "Towns," of the Revisal of one thousand nine hundred and five of North Carolina, and those otherwise provided by law.
