Section 2-3 Division of Town into wards; voting pieces and ballot boxes.
Before the next municipal election in May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three, the board of aldermen of the Town of Canton shall by proper ordinance divide the town into two wards or voting precincts, which division shall conform with the township division of North and South Beaverdam through the Town of Canton. And it shall be the duty of the board of aldermen of said town to provide suitable voting places in each ward or precinct and ballot boxes for the use of the qualified voters of each precinct in this and all subsequent elections.
