(A) No final plat shall be approved by the City Council until improvements of the land and construction of streets, sidewalks and trails, together with all other necessary facilities in the plat have been designed and satisfactorily arranged in accordance with regulations outlined for land improvement and construction and conditions of subdivision approval. The developer shall be required to provide the improvements listed in this chapter installed in accordance with the engineering policy, standards and specifications, as may be amended. All improvements shall be subject to inspection and approval by, and accomplished in the sequence as is determined by the city, via the City Engineer.
(B) In addition to construction on land, streets and trails, the developer, as part of the final plat, shall install and pay for light poles, fixtures and street name signs as approved by the city and the utility company serving the location. The installations shall be completed before the street is surfaced.
