§ 111.017 INVESTIGATION.
   An initial application for an on-sale or off-sale liquor or on-sale wine license shall be accompanied, by a deposit of $550 to apply toward the expense of investigation. Upon receipt of the application and deposit, the city shall cause an investigation of the applicant to be made. A time and expense record shall be kept. Time shall be charged at a rate to be set by the Council and uniformly enforced. If, during the course of investigation, the initial deposit toward the cost of investigation shall have been expended without completion, the investigation shall cease until an additional deposit of $550 has been made.
