(A) The provisions of this section shall be effective immediately after publication for all new construction or remodeling of restricted access commercial buildings and restricted access multiple dwelling buildings.
(B) All existing buildings within the city to which this subchapter applies must be in compliance with its terms within three months of its effective date.
(C) Violations of this section shall be a misdemeanor. In addition, the city may enforce this subchapter by injunctive action or other appropriate civil remedy.
