No sale of malt liquor may be made between 12:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on the days of Sunday through Thursday, except that on the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and on New Year’s Eve sales are permitted until 2:00 a.m. No sale of malt liquor may be made between 2:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. on the days of Friday and Saturday. No licensee may sell malt liquor between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. unless the licensee has obtained a permit from the state pursuant to the provisions of M.S. § 340A.504, Subd.7, as it may be amended from time to time.
