The City Manager or his designee shall be permitted to inspect all hotels and motels within the City's jurisdiction a minimum of two (2) times per year to determine if the property is in compliance. Inspections may occur more frequently if the City Manager deems the same necessary to determine and ensure compliance with this Code section. Warrantless inspections conducted by City Officials pursuant to this chapter shall be conducted between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and shall be limited to the areas of the premises at which commercial activity regulated by this chapter is conducted, which shall include all common areas of the establishment, as well as all areas of every individual unit intended for occupancy by guests of the establishment, but excluding private office areas of the establishment management or ownership.
