No sale, transfer or assignment of the ownership of a hotel or motel or of any interest in a hotel or motel shall occur without first providing the City notice of the intended transaction by delivering written notice of the transaction, including information disclosing the identity of the purchaser, assignee or other successor in interest to the City Manager of the City of Canfield no less than thirty (30) days prior to the date of the transaction.
