No dice shall be thrown nor shall cards or other games of chance be permitted or played in any billiard or pool room, nor in any part of the building in which such pool or billiard tables are located. No minor under the age of eighteen years shall be employed in or be allowed to play billiards or pool or permitted to remain in such billiard or pool room for any purpose, subject to the provisions of Section 529.01.
