(a) Street lighting shall be required, designed and installed by the subdivider following the recommendations of the current Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) Handbook. Illumination provided shall be uniform and compatible with adjacent light sources. Energy efficient lamps, controlled by dusk-to-dawn photocells, are required unless otherwise directed by the Municipal Engineer.
(b) For arterial roadways, street lighting poles and luminaries shall be decorative and conform to Canal Winchester decorative street light type "A" or "B" for non-residential development and street light type "C" for residential development.
(c) The Subdivider shall submit a street lighting plan to the municipality for its review and approval. Every intersection shall be lighted. The developer shall supply the Manager, Division of Streets with one light fixture for every five fixtures to be installed, with a minimum of one fixture supplied.
