131.04 RULES AND REGULATIONS.

   (a)    The Chief of the Fire Department shall promulgate rules and regulations concerning general operations of the Fire Department, including but not limited to rules concerning:

      (1)    Safe practices;

      (2)    Operation of equipment;

      (3)    Chain of command;

      (4)    Communications;

      (5)    The log;

      (6)    Alarms;

      (7)    Procedures at fire scenes;

      (8)    Procedures at the fire station; and

      (9)    Other such rules and regulations necessary for the safe and efficient operation of the Fire Department.

   (b)    The rules shall be in writing and will be given to each new member of the Department. Failure to abide by the rules shall result in action being taken under Section 131.03.
