(a) Completion of a facility use application, approval of the permit request and payment is required to reserve the facility, for exclusive use. Park Pavilion/Facility Use permits are issued on a first come, first served basis.
(b) (1) Events within the parks that could exceed 150 persons in attendance are prohibited, unless written authorization through a special event permit is granted by the Canal Fulton Parks and Recreation Board. Use of pavilions and related public areas that exceed the maximum attendance levels cannot be safely accommodated by the available space. The permit holder may be required to employ a Canal Fulton Police officer(s) for events at the park event as determined by the Canal Fulton Parks and Recreation Board.
(2) The permit holder shall be responsible for all trash pick up or clean up at the park.
(c) Athletic Fields/Courts.
(1) Completion of a facility use application, approval of permit request and payment is required to reserve the facility, for exclusive use. Canal Fulton Parks and Recreation Board approval of the permit request is required to reserve any Park recreational field/court. Recreational fields/courts are designed for a specified recreational use; other use request must be noted and approved by board during application process.
(2) The permit holder shall be responsible for all trash pick up at the recreational field site.
(3) Non-profit parties in partnerships with the City for the designated special event, whether through mutual aid agreement or other, may have all or partial reservation fees waived, as determined by the Canal Fulton Parks and Recreation Board.
(4) Canal Fulton Parks and Recreation programs and events have priority use of the fields and pavilions. The Canal Fulton Parks and Recreation Board will strive to schedule fields & pavilions in a fair and equitable manner.
