111.02 ATTENDANCE AT MEETING.
   Notwithstanding the Council salaries provision of the annual salary ordinance, the sum of forty dollars ($40.00) shall be deducted from a Council member's salary, on a monthly basis, for each Council meeting that a member of Council fails to attend without just cause. Just cause shall be defined as illness or sickness that would prevent the Council member from performing his regular employment, or death of an immediate family member.
