(a) The registered owner of any vehicle parked in a place where parking is prohibited or parked in violation of any City ordinance shall pay a fine of ten dollars ($10.00) each time the vehicle owned by him shall be so parked, if the fine is paid within seven days of the violation. If the fine is not paid within seven days of the violation, the fine shall be twenty dollars ($20.00). If such fine is not paid within thirty days, the owner shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
(b) The fine for violation of Canal Fulton Code Section 351.04(f) (Parking in a Handicapped Zone) shall be twenty dollars ($20.00). If the fine is not paid within seven days of the violation, the fine shall be forty dollars ($40.00). If such fine is not paid within thirty days, the owner shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
(c) The fines provided for in subsections (a) and (b) hereof, may be recovered on behalf of the City, in a civil action, by the Solicitor, in the Massillon Municipal Court if not paid.
