141.11 PHYSICAL EXAMINATION.
   No person shall receive an appointment to the work force unless he has, not more than sixty days prior to receiving such appointment, passed a physical examination, given by a licensed physician designated or approved by the City showing that he meets the physical requirements necessary to perform the duties of the position to which he is to be appointed. The Mayor shall, prior to making any appointment to the fire or police service, file with the Police and Firemen's Disability and Pension Fund, a copy of the report or findings of such licensed physician. The professional fee for such physical examination shall be paid by the City.
