(a) The members of the Commission shall elect the posts of chairman, vice chairman, secretary and treasurer at the first meeting in January and take office immediately. Responsibility for conducting business shall fall on the offices in the order stated. The term of office shall be for one year. The secretary need not be a member of the Commission and shall serve at the discretion of the Commission.
(b) The Commission may further select and hire a director charged with the day-to-day operation of the activities of the Senior Center. The term of employment shall coincide with the fiscal year of the Commission. The director shall serve at the discretion and pleasure of the Commission.
