A. Each notice to the police department of an activation of the alarm system at the alarmed premises for which a permit has not been issued shall be considered a separate violation of this chapter which shall be assessed a fine as follows: (2013 Code § 3-3-5)
1. First false alarm: Violation notice.
2. Second false alarm: One hundred twenty five dollars ($125.00).
3. Each false alarm in excess of two (2): Three hundred dollars ($300.00). (2013 Code § 3-3-5; amd. 2016 Code)
B. Any person, firm, or corporation violating any provisions of this chapter, in addition to the fines established, may be fined as provided in this code. Each day during which a violation in this chapter continues or is permitted to exist shall be considered a separate and distinct offense. (2013 Code § 3-3-15)
