6-1-2: RESIDENCY REGULATIONS:
Anything in this code to the contrary notwithstanding, no member of the police department shall be required to be a resident of the village, but all police officers at all times while employed by the village and all applicants for a position as a police officer shall reside within twenty five (25) miles of the borders of the village. (2013 Code § 1-14-8)
