2-3-1: BOARD ESTABLISHED; MEMBERSHIP; APPOINTMENT; TERM OF OFFICE:
There shall be a board of fire and police commissioners, as provided by law, which shall consist of three (3) members whose terms shall be staggered and for three (3) years. Such members shall be appointed by the president, with the advice and consent of the board of trustees. (2013 Code § 2-3-1)
