§ 151.01 SPRINKLER AND FIRE ALARM SYSTEMS.
   For any newly constructed or renovated business in the city which is required to obtain a building permit for the construction or renovation and if the new construction or renovation includes an automated response mechanism for fire prevention (sprinkler and fire alarms), the owner of the property shall install an electronic rapid entry key box system, such as the TRACcess Electronic Rapid Entry Key Box System or equivalent equipment approved in advance by the City Fire Department, in a location approved in advance by the Fire Department. The City Fire Department Chief may waive this requirement if keys to the premises are available on site on a 24-hour basis.
