(A) It shall be unlawful for the owner or operator of any truck with a gross vehicle weight over 10,000 pounds, any trailer with a gross vehicle weight over 10,000 pounds, any truck-tractor and/or any semitrailer (as defined in the state’s Rules of the Road) to permit the same to be parked in one spot or location, for more than two hours, upon the municipal streets, alleys and public highways located within the corporate limits of the municipality
(B) The Board of Trustees shall cause notices to be posted or signs to be erected informing the public of the terms of this section.
(C) Each two-hour period that the truck, trailer, truck-tractor and/or semitrailer remains parked in the same spot or place after the initial two-hour period shall constitute a separate offense.
(D) Upon application, payment of a fee of $20 and, for good cause shown by the owner or operator of any vehicle as defined in division (A) above, the Municipal Clerk-Treasurer may issue a special permit to extend the parking time limit for a period of not to exceed 48 hours.
