§ 51.13 TREE DUMP; OPERATION AND FUNDING.
   The municipality owns and operates the tree dump, which shall be open to the public at no cost for disposing of yard waste, wood and trees. The governing body, for the purpose of defraying the cost of the care, management and maintenance of the tree dump may each year levy a tax not to exceed the maximum limit prescribed by state law, on the taxable value of all the taxable property within the municipality. The revenue from the tax shall be known as the Tree Dump Fund and shall remain in the custody of the Municipal Clerk-Treasurer. The governing body shall have the authority to adopt rules and regulations for the sanitary and efficient management of the tree dump. The governing body shall further provide by ordinance for the management and operation of the tree dump.
