No person licensed under the provisions of this chapter shall receive on deposit, or purchase, any personal property, bonds, notes, securities or article, property or thing, as such pawnbroker before the hour of 6:00 a.m. or after the hour of 8:00 p.m. during the months of January, February, March, April, October, November and December of each year; or before the hour of 5:00 a.m. or after the hour of 9:00 p.m. during the months of May, June, July, August and September of each year.
