The Council shall determine the need and provide for necessary assistants in the Department of Finance and the Department of Law, however, such assistants shall be in the unclassified service and shall be designated as appointees of the Mayor.
The Council shall determine the need and provide for the necessary secretarial services for the administrative departments of the City, however, such persons shall be appointed by the Mayor, and shall be in the unclassified service of the City.
The statutory appointive position of Mayor's Clerk shall be abolished effective January 1, 1972.
