Code Violation and Explanation:
If you believe that the maintenance code, as applied to you, has been incorrectly interpreted, or applied inappropriately, or that other means can and will be used to adequately address the situation, then you may appeal to the property maintenance committee for the Village of Camden, by completing the attached notice of appeal and filing it with the Village fiscal officer within fifteen (15) days of when the notice of violation was served upon you.
For each day beyond the date upon which the violation must be remedied, you will be fined up to $150.00 per day for each day that the violation continues.
Attached hereto: 1.) copy of maintenance code provision allegedly violated; 2.) copy of application for appeal; 3.) copy of application for variance.

PROPERTY MAINTENANCE STEPS:
1. VIOLATION NOTICE MUST BE TYPED, NOT HAND WRITTEN.
2. SENT TO RESIDENT / OCCUPANT AND OWNER.
3. VIOLATION NOTICE MUST BE MAILED, NOT HAND DELIVERED, WITHIN 4 DAYS AFTER VIOLATION WAS SUBMITTED. COPIES OF APPEAL FORM AND PAGE OF MAINTENANCE CODE THAT DEFINES VIOLATION MUST BE SENT WITH VIOLATION NOTICE.
4. DATE OF REMEDY IS TO BE COMPLETED ACCORDING TO DATE OF MAILING.
5. VIOLATION FILES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE FOR PUBLIC REVIEW UNTIL CASE IS SETTLED.
6. ALL ACTIONS MUST BE WRITTEN, VALIDATED AND MAINTAINED ALONG WITH PHOTOS IN THE PROPERTY FILE.
7. FOLDERS MUST BE LABELED BY PROPERTY ADDRESS AND FILED BY STREET NAME AND NO PERSONAL NAMES ARE TO APPEAR ON FOLDER.
8. WHEN VIOLATION HAS BEEN REMEDIED, IT SHALL BE KEPT IN SEPARATE FILE WITH CERTIFICATE OF COMPLIANCE.
9. EACH VIOLATION MUST BE LISTED SEPARATELY, NOT JOINTLY.
10. A 5 DAY NOTICE WILL BE SENT OUT TO VIOLATORS BEFORE BEING SENT TO Solicitor
