§ 171.10 VILLAGE ADMINISTRATOR.
   (A)   The position of Village Administrator is hereby established for Camden, Ohio pursuant to R.C. §§ 735.271 to 735.273.
   (B)   The Village Administrator shall have the powers and duties and functions as contained in the Ohio Revised Code, and such additional powers, duties, and functions as the Council may from time to time provide with him or her.
   (C)   The Village Administrator shall be a salaried position, paid for by the Village Council, which may be modified by Council; from time to time or in its annual and/or compensation wage ordinance.
   (D)   During the absence of the Village Administrator for any reason, the Mayor may perform the duties and functions of the Village Administrator with all attendant powers.
   (E)   The Village Administrator does not have to reside in the village unless otherwise stated in the future.
   (F)   The Village Administrator will serve at the will of the Mayor and Council, and can be terminated if the Mayor deems that the Village Administrative position is not necessary and with the consent of a majority of the members elected to the legislative authority of the village; or he or she may be removed without cause by the affirmative vote of three-fourths of the members elected to the legislative authority of the village, without the consent of the Mayor. The legislative authority of the village may abolish the position of Village Administrator by ordinance.
