§ 52.027 ELEVATION OF SEWER CONNECTION.
All service lines shall be brought to the building at an elevation below the lowest floor level having sanitary facilities or in conformance with the plumbing code, whichever is more stringent. In all buildings in which any building drain is below a point which will permit a minimum average slope of the service line of at least one foot per 50 feet, wastewater carried by such building sewer shall be lifted by pumping units or other approved means and discharged through a service line having that minimum average slope. Costs of the pumping units, piping, operation, maintenance and power shall be borne by the owner.
