§ 93.15 COMPLIANCE WITH STATE LAW; SUBCHAPTER AS SUPPLEMENT TO STATE LAW.
   It is the purpose of this subchapter to supplement state laws, as amended, for the enforcement of state laws relating to rabies control, including but not limited to;
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any animal owner/keeper or other person to fail to comply with the state laws or this chapter relating to the control of rabies.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to fail or refuse to surrender any animal for quarantine or destruction as required.
   (C)   Animal control officers are authorized to canvass the county to determine if there are any dogs or cats not wearing the required rabies vaccination tag.
