There is established the Municipal Court for the city, which shall be a part of the unified judicial system of the state pursuant to, in accordance with and subject to the provisions of S.C. Code Title 14, Chapter 25 as amended, for the trial and determination of all cases within its jurisdiction and with the powers, duties, and jurisdiction conferred upon the court by the ordinances of the city and the laws of the state.
