§ 34.09 UNIFORM AND EQUIPMENT.
   (A)   For the purpose of this section the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   "EQUIPMENT." Night stick, shield, badge, revolver, handcuffs, blackjack, whistle, and Sam Brown belt. These articles of equipment shall conform in style and design to specifications established by the Chief of Police. Equipment will be furnished by the city for full-time officers, but each officer shall, as often as is necessary, examine and clean his equipment and keep it always in good, serviceable condition.
   "UNIFORM." Overcoat, blouse, trousers, shirts, hat, hat protector, rubber coat, rubber boots, tie, and collar ornaments. These articles of uniform shall conform in style and design to specifications established by the Chief of Police.
   (B)   Title to all uniforms and equipment purchased and issued to members of the Department shall be vested in the city and members of the force shall be held accountable for the proper care, use, and maintenance of all articles, uniforms, and official equipment furnished under the provisions of this section.
   (C)   It shall be the duty of members of the Department to produce any article of uniform and official equipment on demand of the Chief of Police.
