§ 34.05 POWER OF CHIEF TO SUSPEND.
   The Chief of Police may, for the purpose of proper discipline and regulation of the city police force, suspend any member for a period of not exceeding 30 days. It shall be the duty of the Chief to notify the City Manager of any suspension, giving his reason therefor, all of which shall be reported to the City Council by the City Manager.
