The Chief of the Fire Department shall certify to the City Manager the names of all volunteer members of the Fire Department who attend each fire or training session. The City Manager shall make provision for the payment by the city to each member so attending of the amount due any member in accordance with the schedule of rates established by the City Council by general regulation.
