(A) In the event any unsanitary or defective plumbing shall be condemned as provided by § 155.59, the Building Official shall give notice to the owner or agent requiring suitable repairs or replacements to be made within ten days. If personal notice cannot be given to such owner or agent, notice requiring such repairs may be given by posting a placard upon the premises in question.
(B) If repairs or replacements suitable for the correction of any defective plumbing work and unsanitary conditions are not made within the ten-day period provided for by division (A) above, the building shall be declared unfit for human habitation, and the Building Official shall require the removal of the water meter and other remedies as prescribed by law.
