§ 151.16 ELECTRICAL CONSTRUCTION PERMIT REQUIRED; FEES.
   A permit will be required to do any electrical construction of any character, to install any electrical wiring, apparatus or equipment, or to make any extensions or changes to existing wiring systems for lights, heat or power; provided, however, the repairing of damaged or broken fixtures, apparatus or equipment, and ordinary maintenance of said items shall not require a permit. Permits will only be issued to licensed contractors. Permits will be issued by the Building Official or his or her designee upon payment of all applicable fees, verification of current city business license, and verification that the contractor is duly licensed by the state. If deemed necessary by the Building Official, construction drawings must be submitted and approved prior to issuing a permit.
