The business license of the owner or operator of any wrecker service who shall violate any of the applicable provisions of this chapter shall be subject to immediate suspension upon written notification by the Chief of Police for a period of up to 90 days, or permanent suspension by City Council after public hearing, in addition to prosecution for each violation of this chapter as a separate offense. Any deviation from the policies herein established or failure to provide reasonable, quick, and efficient service may result in removal of a wrecker service from this rotation list. A wrecker service shall be automatically removed from the rotation list upon failure to respond to two consecutive calls, unless the Chief of Police shall determine after investigation that unusual circumstances were responsible for the company's failure to perform the requested towing service.
