The driver or dispatcher of each and every taxicab or shuttle shall keep a complete and accurate record of each trip upon a daily trip sheet, the form of which shall be approved by the Chief of Police, showing the time and place of origin and destination of the trip, the number of passengers carried, the mileage and the amount of fare collected. The owner of each and every limousine shall keep a complete and accurate copy of each contract with its customers. These records shall be filed daily and such record shall be kept on file, available for inspection by the Chief of Police or the Chief’s designated assistants, for a period of not less than six months.
