§ 116.04 DISPOSITION OF COPY OF RECORDS, INSPECTION.
   A certified legible copy of the records required to be kept under this chapter shall be made and filed on or before the first day of each week with the Chief of the Police Department and the original record book must be kept for a period of three years by the dealer and at all reasonable times must be open to the inspection of any judicial or law enforcement officials of the city or their designees. The local law enforcement agency may not reveal a seller's identity supplied under this section except to other law enforcement agencies and prosecuting officials or pursuant to the valid order of a court or in the course of any criminal investigation or prosecution.
