The provisions of this subchapter shall not apply to or affect:
(A) Sales pursuant to an order or process of a court of competent jurisdiction.
(B) Sales by persons acting in accordance with their powers and duties as public officials.
(C) Any publisher of a newspaper, magazine, or other publication who publishes in good faith any advertisement without knowledge of its false, deceptive, or misleading character, or without knowledge that the provisions of this subchapter have not been complied with.
(D) Bona fide executor's or administrator's sales nor sales at auction where the merchandise is turned over to a bona fide creditor or association of creditors to be sold for the benefit of the creditors.
(E) Sales by duly licensed auctioneers selling at auction for the purposes provided under foregoing divisions (A), (B), and (C).
