Whoever violates any provision of this chapter for which no penalty is otherwise provided, shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $200 but no less than $55 or imprisoned for not more than 30 days or both. Violations of these sections shall be heard in the Camden Municipal Court. All fines levied as a result of convictions for violations of these sections shall be deposited into the General Fund of the city. However, no penalty shall exceed the penalty provided by state laws for similar offenses. A separate offense shall be deemed committed on each day that a violation occurs or continues.
