§ 72.27 POLICE REPORT OF VIOLATIONS; NOTICE.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of each member of the Police Department to report the following.
      (1)   The number of each parking meter which indicates that the vehicle occupying the parking space adjacent to such parking meter is or has been parked in violation of any of the provisions of this subchapter.
      (2)   The state license number of the vehicle.
      (3)   The time which the vehicle is parked in violation of any of the provisions of this subchapter.
      (4)   Any other facts, a knowledge of which is necessary to a thorough understanding of the circumstances attending such violation.

   (B)   Each police officer shall attach to any vehicle violating any provision of this subchapter a notice to the owner or operator thereof that the vehicle has been parked in violation of a provision of this subchapter and instructing such owner or operator to report to the office of the Chief of Police of the city in regard to such violation.
