§ 99.03 EVENT ALCOHOL PERMIT; PERMITTED LOCATIONS.
   (A)   Events including the sale or consumption of beer and wine shall require a separate permit application, including a plan to contain the event with a physical barrier to control ingress and egress (“alcohol permit”). Police presence, as determined by the Chief of Police, is required for the duration of all events serving beer or wine. The alcohol permit application must be approved by the City Manager or designee.
   (B)   Alcohol permits shall require a plan to identify persons under 21 so that they may not be served alcohol during the event.
   (C)   Alcohol permits issued by the city do not replace and cannot be substituted for any SCDOR or SLED permits that may apply with regard to the sale and consumption of beer and wine on premises.
   (D)   Consumption of beer and wine during events must be approved by resolution of City Council, after alcohol permits are approved, except events at qualified locations wherein consumption of beer and wine during an event is allowed with the approval of a permit (“qualified locations”).
   (E)   The following city facilities and properties shall be recognized as qualified locations:
      (1)   Camden City Arena, 420 Broad Street.
      (2)   Revolutionary War Visitor Center and Campus, 212 Broad Street.
      (3)   Robert Mills Courthouse and Campus, 607 Broad Street.
      (4)   Price House and Campus, 724 Broad Street.
      (5)   Camden Archives and Museum, 1314 Broad Street.
      (6)   Tennis Center of Camden and Pickleball Plaza Campus, 823 Campbell Street.
      (7)   Town Green, 1015 Market Street.
      (8)   Kendall Lake Clubhouse, 2001 Lakeshore Drive.
   (F)   Beer and wine sold or served at an event may be consumed only on the approved city property and may not be removed from the premises in an open container.
