§ 50.06 STREET LIGHTS.
   The installation, maintenance, and operation of street lights or other type street illumination without the municipal limits of the city; the schedules of rates for such service; the proration and collection of charges for such service from property owners or others for whose benefit such service is rendered; the application for such service; the amount of deposits, if any required as prerequisite for the furnishing of such service; the disposition of such deposit; the due date of bills for such service; the amount of discount, if any, for the prompt payment of such bills; penalty and discontinuance of service upon default in payment; penalty and discontinuance of service as to any or all utilities supplied by the city upon default in payment of any bill or portion thereof for utility service supplied by the city or for the collection of any part of which bill the city has assumed responsibility; the terms of re-establishment of service upon payment of arrears; and all matters in connection with the installation, maintenance, and operation of street lights or other type street illumination without the municipal limits of the city shall be in accordance with regulations adopted by the City Council.
