§ 93.15 ESTABLISHMENT OF DISTRICT AND RESTRICTIONS WITHIN THE FIRE DISTRICT.
   (A)   The fire district for the city shall be established for the purpose of minimizing the spread of fire and loss of life within a densely constructed area where there exists high occupancy density and/or high fuel loadings.
   (B)   Within the fire district, all roofing coverings must be Class A or B and all materials used for exterior wall coverings must be non- combustible materials as approved by the Fire Chief or his or her designee. Group H Hazardous occupancies are not allowed in the fire district.
   (C)   In order to maintain the integrity of the fire district, the Fire Chief or his or her designees must approve any building permits for the construction of any project, within 500 feet of the boundaries of the fire district, which may jeopardize the fire district.
   (D)   The boundaries of the fire district shall be shown on a map maintained in the offices of the Fire Chief and the Building Official, and are generally described as follows: beginning at the intersection of Lafayette Avenue and Church Street, traveling south down Church Street to DeKalb Street; thence, turning and running easterly on DeKalb Street to the intersection with Commerce Alley; thence, turning and running southerly on Commerce Alley, crossing Rutledge Street, continuing down Commerce Alley to the intersection with Clyburn Lane; thence, turning and running easterly to a point 263 feet, more or less, from the eastern edge of Broad Street; thence, turning and running northerly a short distance to Arthur Lane; thence, turning and running easterly to Market Street; thence, turning and running northerly to DeKalb Street; thence, turning and running westerly for a short distance to the property line between 506 DeKalb Street and 502 DeKalb Street; thence running northerly along said property line thence, turning and running northerly a short distance to the southern-most property line of 515 Walnut Street; thence running westerly along the following said property line moving first westerly, then northerly, then westerly again to Broad Street; thence, turning and running northerly for a short distance to Lafayette Avenue; thence, turning and running westerly down Lafayette Avenue to the point of beginning.
