As determined by City Council on an annual basis and evidenced in the budget of the city, revenues received by the city from a local option sales tax pursuant to S.C. Code §§ 4-10-10 et seq. (as may be amended from time to time), and deposited in the Camden Revenue Fund may be used to either provide a credit against property taxes, according to the provisions of S.C. Code § 4-10-40 or to defray the costs of municipal operations.
