7-1-1: SIDEWALK CONSTRUCTION IN PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY:
   A.   Specifications: The material and method of constructing sidewalks shall conform in all respects to the specifications adopted by the City Council. These specifications shall be on file in the City Clerk's Office at all times.
   B.   Property Owner Responsibility: It shall be the duty of every property owner, upon notification by the City Council, to construct or repair sidewalks as such is prescribed in said notice.
   C.   Failure To Comply; City Construction; Costs A Lien: If such property owner shall fail, after notification, to construct or repair any sidewalk, the City Council may order same constructed or repaired. The costs of said work shall be assessed against the property owner for which said sidewalk was constructed or repaired and said cost shall become a lien upon the property.
   D.   Residential Zone Sidewalks: Residential Zone sidewalks are to be a minimum of five feet (5') wide.
   E.   Commercial Zone Sidewalks: Commercial Zone sidewalks are to be a minimum of six feet (6') wide.
   F.   Highway Frontage Sidewalks: Highways 95 and 71 frontage sidewalks shall be six feet (6') wide in all zones with the exception of subsection G of this section.
   G.   Central Business District Commercial Zone: Central Business District Commercial Zone Highway 95 frontage shall be a minimum of twelve feet (12') wide and shall extend from the front of the building to the back of the curb.
   H.   Sidewalks Abut Property Line: When sidewalks abut the property line a five foot (5') wide utility easement behind the sidewalk is required for water meters and fire hydrants. When right-of-way is sufficiently wide, five feet (5') may be reserved behind the sidewalk for water meters and fire hydrants. (Ord. 2-2018, 10-8-2018)
