A. Application For Permit: Any recognized civic or local organization may make application to the city council for a special permit for a fireworks display to be held in connection with a national holiday or any special local event. Such application shall be made in writing to the city clerk who shall present said application to the council for its action.
B. Investigation; Permit Issuance: The mayor and council shall make such investigation as deemed necessary and may issue a permit subject to any special provisions deemed necessary.
C. Permit For One Event: Such permit shall not be of a continuing nature but shall be exclusive to the one time only for which it is issued. (1977 Code § 3-2-2)
