The position of city zoning administrator and/or building inspector is hereby created in order to carry out the provisions of this title. The city council may, in its discretion, employ a zoning administrator and/or building inspector, may assign the responsibility of carrying out the duties of this title to another employee or officer; provided, that if a zoning administrator and/or building inspector is appointed, he shall be qualified as an administrator and shall have a knowledge of city construction practices. The city shall supervise the zoning administrator and/or building inspector and shall determine his salary or compensation. (Ord. 3-95, 5-8-1995, eff. 5-8-1995)
